ActuApp es una herramienta que permitirá sus usuarios denunciar de forma efectiva y expedita situaciones de violencia y discriminación con razón en su orientación, expresión y/o identidad de género.

Las cifras pertenecen a un estudio de percepción de Fundación Iguales, dado a conocer en el marco del lanzamiento de su programa “Acción Regional Contra la Discriminación”, financiado por el Gobierno Regional.

Se evaluaron 151 empresas de forma gratuita y abierta, mediante el reconocido indicador corporativo que en esta oportunidad sumó preguntas relacionadas con el desarrollo de liderazgos visibles LGBTI+, como también sobre programas para la atracción del talento de la diversidad, particularmente trans, en las organizaciones.

El pasado viernes 2 de febrero se vivió una tragedia que dejó en luto al país entero. Diversos incendios afectaron la zona centro-sur, específicamente la región de Valparaíso, lo que terminó con la vida de más de 130 personas, y alrededor de 15 mil viviendas afectadas.

Con la presencia de autoridades y personalidades del mundo privado, Fundación Iguales y Pride Connection Chile desarrollaron la octava versión del evento con fines de sensibilización y recaudación para continuar su trabajo de inclusión de la diversidad.

En el evento de recaudación anual se entregó, por primera vez, un premio al activismo que lleva el nombre de su cofundador.

Fue la cuarta versión del programa de Pride Connection Chile con la que se llegó a tener incidencia en cerca de 350 mil trabajadores y trabajadoras de forma directa e indirecta. Asimismo, se certificaron 14 personas en la primera edición del programa de Mentorías Profesionales Para el Talento LGBTI+. 

“Tras la muerte de nuestro querido Luis Larrain hemos reflexionado en torno a este tema y decidimos apoyar la discusión del proyecto que se encuentra en el Senado”, manifestó la directora ejecutiva, María José Cumplido.

La directora ejecutiva de Fundación Iguales, María José Cumplido, señaló que aún hay desafíos pendientes como el fin de la transfobia y los crímenes de odio, así como la inserción laboral de las personas trans.

Se trata de la IV versión de la encuesta Somos Familia, que invita a participar a padres, madres, tíos, abuelos y otros a cargo de menores o adolescentes LGBTI+, familias homoparentales o lesbomaternales y diversas formas de familia con uno o más miembros de la comunidad.

No olvidaremos nunca su incombustible espíritu de lucha, su valentía para enfrentar las adversidades, su carácter templado, su claridad de pensamiento y la generosidad  que prodigó en su afán de abrir caminos hacia la plena igualdad de las personas LGBTI+ en nuestro país.

Hicimos un llamado responsable a votar en contra de la nueva propuesta de Constitución debido a que el contenido de esta pone en riesgo la seguridad y los derechos de las personas LGBTIQ+

"Hacemos un llamado responsable a votar en contra de esta propuesta y a continuar en el desafío de abrir un diálogo que permita establecer una legislación que proporcione protección, seguridad y pleno ejercicio de los derechos para todas las personas".

Durante este año la fundación ha realizado dos despliegues territoriales en la región donde abarcó establecimientos educacionales, organismos colaboradores de Mejor Niñez y organizaciones de la sociedad civil.

Fundación Iguales, la Human Rights Campaign (HRC) -la mayor ONG de diversidad sexual del mundo- y la red Pride Connection Chile invitan a que las organizaciones participen de Equidad CL, radiografía y diagnóstico que permite identificar los niveles de inclusión y diversidad corporativa con la comunidad de la diversidad sexual y certificar a los mejores lugares para trabajar para el talento LGBTI+ (Lesbianas, Gays, Bisexuales, transgénero e Intersex).

Durante el último tiempo han visto con preocupación la proliferación de grupos hostiles hacia la comunidad LGBTQ+, tanto en Chile como en el mundo. “Ante este escenario vemos la necesidad de alianzas internacionales para fortalecer la defensa de los derechos adquiridos y de la certeza jurídica en esta materia, así como para promover la creación de nuevas leyes y políticas públicas que permitan que todas las personas puedan vivir seguras e iguales en dignidad y derechos en Chile”, afirmó la directora ejecutiva de Fundación Iguales, María José Cumplido.

“Valoramos que la Delegación Presidencial Regional del Biobío haya puesto una querella y pedimos que este caso se investigue como un crimen de odio considerando que su identidad de género era conocida en el ámbito social y laboral”, afirmó.

La Dirección Regional Metropolitana del SERNAC, en alianza con Fundación Iguales, organizaron el taller gratuito "Educación Financiera y Derechos de personas consumidoras" que se realizará este miércoles 30 de agosto.

En el marco de su programa “Círculos Pride Connection”,  este martes la red Pride Connection llevó a cabo la primera mesa de conversación entre CEOs de grandes empresas de Chile para conversar sobre inclusión LGBTI+.

La red se lanzó el 10 de agosto de 2016, impulsada por Fundación Iguales. Hoy superan las 130 organizaciones que trabajan en políticas y programas de diversidad e inclusión laboral para personas de la diversidad sexual.

After designing my ideal week, I had a much clearer idea of how to create a framework for my week that would empower me to feel more focused by theming days of the week, and even parts of the day.
